Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside search provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them only to answer your message.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our hosting system keeps routine server logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
The limited data described above helps us operate the site, diagnose faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles about individual users.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Cherokee County and Georgia government portals, records offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted on another website is controlled by that site's privacy policy, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored search results, which an independent provider supplies.
Who May Receive Data
Companies that host or support the site may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may also receive the automatic information described above. We disclose data when valid legal process requires it and do not otherwise share visitor information.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only as long as they serve the purposes stated above. Because visitors do not have accounts, this site holds no visitor password or account profile that could be exposed.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by a website. Research completed July 16, 2026 did not identify an enacted, generally applicable Georgia consumer-data privacy law or statewide data-broker deletion system, so no broader Georgia right is claimed here. Because we retain very little, we can usually check our contact mailbox and server logs promptly and remove what we find. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records maintained by Cherokee County or Georgia agencies remain outside our control, and any correction or removal request for those records must go to the proper custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will be published here. If you continue using the site after an update, you accept the revised terms.
